Canary Intel

Canary Intel was created as a solution for business professionals seeking custom, time-sensitive information and trends. Clients received real-time intelligence and aggregated trend data from social, blogs, video, feeds and localized news about their desired keyword(s) and location(s) giving them business insights. Canary also developed communications for clients.

My responsibilities included business strategy, product design, and marketing including conceptualizing and executing creative work. Additionally, I lead the creative work for our clients seeking messaging. Featured below are a sample of the product and marketing efforts.

Client Case Studies

A New Home for the NY Islanders hockey team. Or not.

The Islanders were considering moving to a new stadium in Belmont Park from their longtime home in Nassau Coliseum. The Coliseum and the proposed town were not happy.

The job was to create a campaign to dissuade the stadium build by amplifying the concerns of area leaders, businesses, and residents.

Multiple pro- and anti-stadium social media accounts were managed to promote an anti-stadium message as well as listen to the opposition. Local rally’s and regional news outlet coverage also created awareness.

The new stadium ended up being built due to factors beyond our control.
